Tuesday, March 21st, 9am: Raptor Adventures (CLASS FULL)
Join us as we discover what qualities make a bird a raptor!  Look closely at artifacts and dissect an owl pellet to uncover what an owl had as a meal!

Saturday, March 25th, 11am: Rabbits and Raindrops Preschool Storytime & Craft! 
Join us for a seasonal story and simple craft in our Tanglewood Hollow classroom space!  No registration required.

Tuesday, March 28th, 9am: Nature Show & Tell!
Bring a favorite piece of your home nature collection into the Tanglewood Hollow classroom to share with friends!  Tell us how you found it and why it's special to you!  You may even want to use our Nature Lab to take a closer look at your special treasure!  No registration required.

Thursday, March 30th, 9am: Possum & Peeper Story-time!  
Learn about the frogs you hear this time of year and the different types of egg masses you'll see in vernal pools as we approach the mating season of Spring Peepers and Wood Frogs!


Thursday, April 6th, 6pm: Make your own Flower Press! (SPOTS AVAILABLE)
Gear up for spring flowers by creating your own flower press!  Learn the ins-and-outs of pressing flowers, decorate your own flower press using real pressed flowers, and learn all the different ways you can used pressed plants (including making your own herbarium and how scientists use them!)  Adult class only!

Tuesday, April 11th, 9am: Junior Naturalist Club! (CLASS FULL)
Throughout 2023 we will be introducing and learning about different naturalists from history together!  Each month we will focus on a different person, discover their area of study, explore specimens and artifacts, and create hands-on projects to deeper our learning and understanding!  Who knows, it may spark a special interest in your little naturalist!
In April we will explore the world of paleontology through Mary Anning!  Look at real fossils with us and try to decode their importance to scientists, do a whole-body movement activity, read about Mary, and create your own ammonite fossil to take home!  Ages 6+.  Younger children may need some additional guidance from a parent/guardian with the art activity!  Limited space available.
Cost: $15 per child

Bring a food dish to share and books to swap!  Meet other home educators and fill your cup!
