ART ADVENTURES ON TUESDAYS

(1:00PM) The Illustrated Naturalist is an art class for ages 8 and up that explores the lives and work of famous naturalists throughout history. Each multi-week unit focuses on one naturalist, introducing students to their discoveries, time period, and artistic techniques. Using provided materials, students will create their own inspired artworks while learning to see the natural world through the eyes of history’s great observers- all from the comfort of our indoor classroom. (1:00PM) Sprout Studio is a seasonal art class for ages 5-7, taught by Ms. Ashley. Through joyful, nature-inspired themes, young artists will explore foundational art concepts like line, shape, color, and texture. Each 4-week session blends drawing, painting, storytelling, and experimentation to help children express themselves freely, build confidence, and fall in love with the creative process. SCIENCE & DISCOVERY CLASSES ON THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS

BRAND NEW! JUNIOR ORNITHOLOGIST SERIES: (Begins February 20th): Take flight in this 13-week science series all about the fascinating world of birds! In this ornithology-focused class, students will explore the incredible diversity of avian life- from tiny hummingbirds to powerful birds of prey- while learning how scientists study and classify them. Through hands-on activities, outdoor observation, and interactive lessons, we’ll uncover the secrets of flight, migration, nesting, and more. Students will develop birdwatching skills, learn to use field guides, and gain a deeper understanding of the unique adaptations that help birds thrive in habitats around the world through hands-on science activities. TALES FROM THE WINTER WILD

Gather for cozy story times celebrating the wonders of winter wildlife. Each week, we’ll meet a new creature through story, song, and simple nature-inspired activities... discovering how animals survive, adapt, and thrive when the world outside is blanketed in snow. Story time runs from 10–12, including open discovery time for hands-on play and exploration in our nature-filled space.

An 8-week journey into traditional skills, nature craft, and community. Each Wednesday, we will gather to create and connect- learning timeless folk and homesteading arts through hands-on projects inspired by the rhythms of the winter season.

MORNING AFTERNOON

THE YOUNG HERBALISTS GUILD

Join us for a hands-on journey through the world of herbs and folk remedies! This monthly club is designed for kids ages 10 and up who are curious about plants and eager to learn traditional herbal skills in a fun, community-centered setting. Once a month from January to May, we'll meet to explore one or two herbal allies through stories, folklore, hands-on remedy making, tastings, and journaling.

FORAGING THROUGH THE YEAR: KIDS

Designed especially for kids, this four-season foraging series invites young explorers to discover the wild edibles growing all around us in central New Hampshire. Each session takes place in a different season, giving children the chance to see how the landscape changes throughout the year- and to safely sample some of the edible plants that thrive in each one! Along the way, they'll learn the basics of foraging, including safety, ethical harvesting practices, and how to care for the
land as respectful and responsible stewards.
