Join us at Tanglewood Hollow this spring for “Tales from the Rainforest,” a story time series where children will journey into the jungle through books, crafts, and hands-on exploration. Each week, we’ll open a magical suitcase that transports us to rainforests around the world, guiding our stories and discoveries as we learn about the animals and plant life found within them.

Each gathering includes a gentle story, a simple craft, and time for open-ended exploration, allowing children to move, play, and discover at their own pace. This is a relaxed, immersive experience designed for young children and their caregivers to enjoy together.

TALES FROM THE RAINFOREST

Step into the role of a young reporter and explore the natural world through writing, observation, and storytelling! In this hands-on class, students will learn how to ask thoughtful questions, notice the details others might miss, and turn their discoveries into meaningful pieces of writing. Through interviews, field notes, and writer’s workshop, we’ll build real journalism skills!
