YOUNG ENTOMOLOGIST SCIENCE SERIES
Creep, crawl, and flutter into the fascinating world of insects in this hands-on science series just for young learners! Each week, we’ll explore beetles, butterflies, bees, and more through stories, songs, up-close encounters, and playful activities!
Two six-week sessions available:
Session 1: Begins February 19
Session 2: Begins April 9
INSECT PINNING WORKSHOP
Join us for a hands-on Insect Pinning Class designed for students ages 10+. In this special workshop, students will learn the foundational techniques of properly pinning and preserving a Five-Horned Rhinoceros Beetle for display and study. Each student will receive all supplies needed and will leave with a pinned insect to add to their collection. Class size is limited to 8 students. If there is strong interest, we may offer additional insect pinning workshops in the future.
THE YOUNG HERBALISTS GUILD
Join us for a hands-on journey through the world of herbs and folk remedies! This monthly club is designed for kids ages 10 and up who are curious about plants and eager to learn traditional herbal skills in a fun, community-centered setting. Once a month from January to May, we'll meet to explore one or two herbal allies through stories, folklore, hands-on remedy making, tastings, and journaling.
