Explore the vibrant science behind the colors of the natural world! In this four-week series, students will uncover how and why living things use color- whether to attract, warn, or hide. From the shimmer of butterfly wings to the reflective scales of fish, we’ll study how light interacts with the natural world through hands-on experiments and creative projects.
Students will test color chromatography, experiment with iridescence, and take on camouflage design challenges inspired by nature’s most skillful masters of disguise. This engaging series combines art, physics, and biology to help students see the world in a whole new light!
