At Tanglewood Hollow, we are passionate about fostering a deep connection with the natural world and nurturing curiosity in both children and adults. We believe that there are never too many questions, that the itch to explore is essential, and that wonder is a powerful force. However, we've observed a major disconnect between children and nature, with less time being spent outside and a world shrinking beneath pavement. This nature-deficit disorder has serious implications for both individuals and the planet.

Numerous studies have shown that a connection to nature leads to healthier, happier, and more creative children. If we want to protect our environment and biodiversity, it's crucial that we create opportunities for people to reconnect with nature. At Tanglewood Hollow, we offer a thoughtfully curated selection of educational resources, curiosities, and nature-based products in our shop, all of which we use and love with our own family. We're committed to environmental awareness, so we've put a lot of thought into our packaging and design.

As Dr. Maria Montessori once said, "Let the children be free." Let's encourage children to run outside when it's raining, to remove their shoes and feel the water in puddles, to rest peacefully under a tree's shade, and to shout and laugh when the sun wakes them up in the morning. By fostering a love and appreciation for the natural world in children, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and for the planet. Join us in this important mission and discover the wonders of nature with Tanglewood Hollow!
