YOUNG ENTOMOLOGISTS: A 6-WEEK DISCOVERY OF BUGS, BEETLES, & BUTTERFLIES (SESSION 1)

Creep, crawl, and flutter your way into the fascinating world of insects! In this hands-on science series, young explorers will discover the incredible diversity of Earth’s tiny creatures- from beetles and butterflies to bees and ants. Each week features stories and playful activities that encourage observation, movement, and curiosity about the natural world. Classes run from 10:30–11:30.

What to Expect:
- Observe real insects and insect specimens up close
- Explore habitats, body parts, and insect life cycles
- Sing songs, play games, and make simple bug-inspired crafts
- Learn through stories, movement, and sensory play

February 19: What Is an Entomologist? (Meet the world of insects!)
February 26: Busy Bees & Pollinators
March 5: Beautiful Butterflies
March 12: Ants & Their Amazing Tunnels
March 19: Beetles, Bugs, & Backyard Finds
March 26: Bug Party & Insect Art Celebration

🦋 Perfect for curious kids who love to explore, observe, and be creative! 🐜 All classes are held in-person at Tanglewood Hollow in Concord, NH.

🐞 Class size is limited to keep things cozy and engaging- sign up early!

Note: In case of inclement weather, we’ll follow Concord School District’s closures. A make-up time will be added if necessary.

All orders are processed within 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.  Orders are shipped from Concord, New Hampshire. You will receive an email notification when your order has shipped.

Time in transit is estimated from the day that the package is delivered to the carrier.

Domestic Shipping Rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated based on weight and will be displayed at checkout.  Orders will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground.

We do not provide estimated delivery timeframes for Armed Forces addresses. Please plan on at least several weeks for delivery.

International Shipping
