Once they’re finished, we’ll put our shelters to the test and see what worked, what didn’t, and what we might change if we really needed to spend a night in the woods.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis class will be active, outdoors, and probably a little dirty- exactly the way a wilderness skills class should be!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis is a drop-off program.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Part of the experience is giving kids the opportunity to work independently, collaborate with their peers, make decisions, encounter problems, and figure out solutions without an adult immediately stepping in to do it for them.
