Although it may look like it, this stone is not jasper! It's cryptocrystalline quartz that with bits of red woven into an epidote green background. The swirls, spots, and texture you see are all due to trace minerals and impurities.
Did you know these stones can only be found in South Africa and Western Australia? These are from AUS and have all been tumbled smooth for a polished look and easy handling. Each stone is 20-30mm.Pickup available at 93 Storrs Street
