Sheep to Yarn Class Series
Thursdays, October 5, 12, 19- 1:00-3:00pm
How does wool from a sheep get turned into something we can wear? Over three classes, we'll discover where our clothes come from now vs. how they would have been made historically, explore different sources of fiber, learn to spin yarn on a drop spindle, try our hand at felting and weaving, and dye our yarn using a natural dye. Each class will also weave in a wool-based story! Drop spindles will be available to use during class but families may opt to purchase one separately (with some practice wool!) for an additional $20.
Sarah has been working with fibers- knitting, spinning and a bit of weaving- for over 20 years. She is a member of the NH Spinners & Dyers Guild and has presented about spinning at a variety of schools, non-profits, libraries and community fairs in NH. She also has a background in archaeology and environmental education and is a homeschooling mom, avid gardener and "nature nerd."

Domestic Shipping Rates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated based on weight and will be displayed at checkout. Orders will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground.
We do not provide estimated delivery timeframes for Armed Forces addresses. Please plan on at least several weeks for delivery.
International Shipping
