Tanglewood Hollow

Prehistoric Animals Book

$72.00 Sold out

In this fascinating book, Professor Joseph Augusta makes prehistoric animals and their world come to life. He carries us with him through the long story of how life developed from its earliest forms; how animals emerged from the waters; and the changes they incurred in the process. He describes the variations that took place in the Earth's crust, and the resulting effects upon flora and fauna. Dr. Augusta's text, accompanied by Zdenek Burian's sixty masterful color paintings, forever changed how we understand our prehistoric world.

Includes 60 different plates featuring prehistoric animals. This truly is a beautiful book!

Each book is in vintage condition. There may be some highlighting or small writing inside, fading, creases in the paper, or small tears, adding to the charm! **There is very little wear to this specific book!!** Each of our collections will come with a small card that tells the history of the Nature Discovery Center that Tanglewood is rescuing! Funds from these book sales go directly toward that effort!
